BREAK AND RETURN
He took a one-year break from wheelchair basketball between 2017 and 2018. He decided to return to the sport after receiving a call from national coach Craig Friday. "I went over to a world championship for the U23s Australian side [in Toronto, ON, Canada], and it was a fair process building up to that. I lost a bit of love for it, I suppose. I just decided I might go back and give it a crack and ended up doing so, and it's worked out pretty well." (abc.net.au, 02 Aug 2021)
