Biographical Information

Highlights

He played for the Great Britain wheelchair rugby team from 1995 to 2008, making his debut at the 1995 World Championships in Nottwil, Switzerland. He competed at three editions of the Paralympic Games in 2000, 2004 and 2008. He retired from the sport after competing at the 2008 Games in Beijing. He was the development coach of the Great Britain national wheelchair rugby team from 2011 to 2013. He coached the Irish national wheelchair rugby team from November 2010 to October 2011. He has also coached wheelchair rugby club West Coast Crash in Southport, England.

WHEELCHAIR RUGBY JOURNEY
He became involved with wheelchair rugby after suffering a spinal cord injury. "I started wheelchair rugby in 1992 after my spinal cord injury. The sport helped me adjust to my new way of life by learning from my friends who had also had life changing injuries. I'm very proud of the fact that I represented my country as an athlete and now as a head coach [Great Britain]. I've travelled all over the world.
