Impairment Details
He has quadriplegia as the result of a snowboarding accident in 2000. He was on a school trip and was a novice snowboarder when he attempted a 4.5 metre jump that his teachers had approved. Instead of clearing it, he landed on his head, breaking his neck and damaging his spinal cord. (sci.rutgers.edu, 13 Jul 2003)

He has co-hosted 'Beyond the Field', a Canadian TV show focusing on issues impacting the world of Para sport, alongside Canadian Para ice hockey player Greg Westlake.
