He was born with congenital neuroblastoma [cancer] in his spinal cord. He lost mobility in his legs as a result of the condition. In 2014 he published his biography 'Con ruedas y a lo loco' [Reckless on wheels]. "When I was offered to write the book, me and my family were stunned.
