He lived in Australia in 2014 and 2015. "I had started to go in 2010 because I had played in Spain with [Australian wheelchair basketball player] Shaun Groenewegen and he convinced me to go to Australia to improve my level. Then I went back every year, I met my wife and my life changed." In 2015 he returned to Spain. "I had possibilities to go to the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, so we came back."
