General
FROM SWEDEN TO GERMANY
After recovering from her accident, she started working selling ski passes in Sweden, which she says helped her "deal with" her injury. She also started playing wheelchair basketball. She then moved to the student residence of the University of Innsbruck in Austria to study, and would commute by car from Austria to Bavaria, Germany, to take part in basketball training at the University Sports Club in Munich [USC Munchen]. She met her husband, Benjamin Ryklin, in Germany, who is able-bodied. "We played on the same team, but he doesn't have an injury." She eventually settled in Germany permanently, and was offered the chance to switch nationalities to represent the German team. (wingsforlife.com, 30 Sep 2015; philtrat-muenchen.de, 22 Mar 2017)
