Although it was more like a hobby group, there was a national team player participating, so I could see what it looked like to play at the highest level. I did a lot of sports before my accident and it was important for me to see that I could do sports again. Once I tried wheelchair basketball, I was immediately hooked." Her club team, RBB Munchen Iguanas, is a mixed gender team, which she says creates a different atmosphere compared to the national women's team. "It is sometimes easier in a mixed team because you can say things more directly to one another. But if you are going to dish it out, you also have to be able to take it.
