Impairment Details
At two weeks old she was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of soft tissue cancer. As a result of the condition, her leg was amputated below the knee in 1992. (Athlete, 15 Dec 2015)

She stepped away from international sitting volleyball after Canada failed to qualify for the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
