He served as head coach of the Lichtenstein men's national volleyball team between 1997 and 2002. He has coached volleyball at club level for Austrian women's team SSK Feldkirch [2002-03], German women's team VC 68 Eichwalde [2003-04], German men's team VC Bad Durrenberg [2007-09], German women's team SC Potsdam [2009-11], Romanian men's team Remat Zalau [2011], Austrian men's team VC Amstetten [2012-13] and German men's team SVG Luneburg [2013-14]. He has also served as sporting director at German women's team Rote Raben Vilsbiburg, coach of the German men's junior volleyball team in 2012, and assistant coach of the Austrian men's national volleyball team between 2014 and 2017.
