She was competing at a Para sports competition in 2015 in Yakutsk, Russian Federation, when she was spotted by head coach of the Russian sitting volleyball team, Alexander Ovsyannikov. He invited her to train with the national team, and a few months later she was selected to represent the Russian Federation at the 2015 European Championships in Podcetrtek, Slovenia.
