He has represented the Portuguese team Sporting Clube in the European Super League. He was initially contacted by the club's technical director and was unveiled as the 'Cristiano Ronaldo of Goalball' when he signed. "They even contacted me on Facebook, probing my interest in participating in games for Sporting. Even without financial incentives and for the growth of the sport I accepted right away. What makes it easier for me in training is the language. It facilitates my understanding of what they are asking for. I think if it were another country it would be more difficult for me."
