SHOOTING STYLE
He is one of the few male players on the Brazil national team to shoot from between his legs. "When I began playing I found it was easier for me to play this way. My coach insisted to do it the normal way, with spin, but I couldn't apply so much power, that's why I adopted the between the legs technique. They don't play like that in Europe, it's a characteristic of Brazilian goalball. The women's national team uses it a lot." (olimpiadatododia.com.br, 25 Jun 2020)
