Impairment Details
In January 2014 he was cycling to work when he hit a stationary car and crashed, sustaining two fractured vertebrae in his spine and a fractured skull. After surgery to repair his spine, he was initially paralysed on the right side of his body. He was told he would never walk again, but he resumed walking and cycling within two months of the accident.
