Impairment Details
She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age nine. Through surgery, doctors were able to lengthen her hamstrings and Achilles tendons, and add bone grafts to her ankles. "I also get Botox injections in my legs about every six months. My cerebral palsy makes my muscles constantly contract, so the Botox acts as a neuro-inhibitor and helps them relax."
