General Interest
Zambia made its Paralympic debut at the 1996 Games in Atlanta, where Lango Sinkamba was the NPC's sole representative in the men's T52-53 marathon. Sinkamba returned four years later to contest the men's T54 marathon at Athens 2004.
Lassam Katongo is the only other Zambian athlete to have competed at more than one edition of the Paralympic Games. He contested the men's T12 800m and T13 1500m at both Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
