General Interest
Tajikistan made its Paralympic debut at the 2004 Games in Athens, with Parviz Odineav competing in the men's 60kg division in powerlifting. Odineav made his second Paralympic appearance at London 2012 to become Tajikistan's first athlete to compete at multiple editions of the Paralympic Games.
Romikhudo Dodikhudoev was the NPC's sole representative at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. Competing in athletics, he was ranked 14th in both the T47 100m and T47 400m.
