General Interest
Sierra Leone made its Paralympic debut at the 1996 Games in Atlanta. Kelly Marah competed in the men's F34/37 javelin, placing sixth.
After a 16-year absence, the NPC returned to the Games in 2012 in London, where its sole representative Mohamed Kamara competed in the T46 100m and 200m. Table tennis player George Wyndham was the only Sierra Leone athlete at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. He lost both of his group matches in the men's singles class 4 and did not advance to the knockout stages.
