General Interest
Senegal made its Paralympic debut at the 2004 Games in Athens. Since then, five athletes have represented the NPC in athletics events at the Paralympic Games but none have been able to claim Senegal's first Paralympic medal.
Senegal has sent a delegation of two athletes to each edition of the Paralympic Games since 2004, with the exception of London 2012 when Mor Ndiaye was the NPC's sole participant in the men's F57/58 javelin. Ndiaye and Dague Diop, who competed at London 2012 and Rio 2016, are the only Senegalese athletes to have made more than one appearance at the Paralympic Games.
