General Interest
Niger made its Paralympic debut at the 2004 Games in Athens, with Zoubeirou Issaka competing in the men's T12 100m in athletics. It has sent athletes to every Paralympic Games since.
At Rio 2016, the NPC was represented by two athletics competitors. Balkissa Amadou participated in the women's F57 discus, while Ibrahim Dayabou competed in both the men's T47 100m and T47 long jump.
