General Interest
Swimmer Dusan Dragovic became the first athlete to represent Montenegro at the Paralympic Games when he competed in the men's S10 50m freestyle in Beijing in 2008. The NPC has sent a delegation of athletes to every Paralympic Games since then.
Montenegro had two representatives at the 2016 Games in Rio. Marijana Goranovic competed in shot put and discus in athletics, while swimmer Ilija Tadic did not progress to the final in either of the two events in which he competed.
