General Interest
Two athletes have represented Gabon at the Paralympic Games.
Thierry Mabicka competed at the 2008 Games to become the first Paralympian from Gabon. He was disqualified in the T54 800m and three days later finished 14th in the F57/58 javelin. Mabicka went on to compete at the 2012 Games, finishing 22nd in the T54 100m.
Edmond Ngombi became Gabon's second Paralympian at the 2016 Games, entering the T54 100m and finishing 19th.
