General Interest
The Central African Republic has sent athletes to four editions of the Paralympic Games since the NPC made its debut in 2004. Three athletes represented the Central African Republic at the Games during that time.
Powerlifter Thibaut Bomaya became the NPC's first Paralympian in Athens, while Rosel-Clemariot-Christian Nikoua was the sole representative for the Central African Republic in 2008 and 2012. Nikoua's best result was sixth in the men's F40 javelin in 2012.
Roddy-Michael Stephane Mokolongo was the only athlete to represent the Central African Republic at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. He competed in the F57 shot put and the F57 javelin throw.
