General Interest
Athletes from Bermuda first competed at the Paralympic Games in 1996. The NPC has sent a delegation of competitors to each edition of the Games since then.
Between Atlanta 1996 and Beijing 2008, Bermudan athletes competed solely in dressage. Kirsty Anderson and Alexander Mitchell both represented the NPC at multiple editions of the Games during that period, with Mitchell's ninth-place finish in 2000 in the grade I open individual freestyle the best result by a Bermudan dressage rider at the Paralympic Games.
Wheelchair racer Jessica Cooper Lewis and boccia player Yushae Andrade were the only two Bermudan athletes at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. Andrade did not progress to the knockout rounds after recording one loss and one draw in the group phase, while Cooper Lewis' best result in Brazil was sixth in the T53 100m. Cooper Lewis was the NPC's sole representative at the 2012 Games in London, where she contested the T53 100m, 200m, and 400m.
