He began volleyball training at age nine in Gizycko, Poland. (se.pl, 04 Oct 2018)
:
At a young age he tried a number of sports including swimming, aikido, football, handball, sailing and athletics. His mother used to play volleyball in her youth and was a physical education teacher at his school, and she encouraged him to play the sport. "It is said that it's good to try many sports, before you find the right one, because you can develop as an all-rounder. In the fourth grade of primary school, I made the decision to focus on volleyball. My mum told me to try it and she made sure that I trained." (se.pl, 04 Oct 2018)

To win gold at the Olympic Games and to win the World Cup. "For a long time I have had three dreams - to win at the Olympic Games, world championships and World Cup. The dream about the world championships already came true [in 2018]." (wyborcza.pl, 01 Oct 2018)

NEW CLUB
After one season [2020/21] with ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle, during which the team won the CEV Champions League, he left ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle and joined another Polish PlusLiga side, Asseco Resovia Rzeszow, ahead of the 2021/22 season. "During my stay in Zaksa I managed to make one of my biggest sporting dreams come true, I won the Champions League. I think that every volleyball player dreams about it. When I was coming to Kedzierzyn-Kozle I did not even think that we would be able to do it. After such success it is difficult to leave the club, but we all know that these kind of decisions are made long before the end of the season. When you achieve the greatest success that is possible to gain in club volleyball then have to say goodbye to the people with whom you achieved it, it is very difficult." (siatka.org, 08 Jun 2021)
