General Interest

General
Germany have competed at all three editions of the world championships in which the 4x100m mixed medley relay has been contested. They placed seventh at the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju, matching their result from the 2017 edition of the tournament. At the 2015 World Championships in Kazan, they won bronze behind the United States of America and gold medallists Great Britain.

The German team's best performance at the European championships came in 2014, when they placed fourth with a time 0.27 seconds slower than bronze medallists the Russian Federation. They finished fifth in 2018, and were ranked 15th at the 2020 European Championships, which took place in May 2021.
