SHOULDER SURGERY
He underwent shoulder surgery after the 2018 World Cup in San Francisco, CA, United States of America. A piece of his bone was cut off and screwed into his shoulder socket to prevent it dislocating. He had previously sustained shoulder injuries including a torn labrum [cartilage], and decided to have surgery after suffering a dislocation while helping his brother put up blinds. "I was holding something for him and my shoulder slipped out. When things like that were starting to happen, it was fairly obvious I needed to have something done about it."
