General
LATE STARTER
She made her international debut for Canada at senior level at the 2021 SheBelieves Cup in Orlando, FL, United States of America, having never previously represented Canada at any youth age group level. "I'm really proud of my own path and how it's happening. Maybe I could have done some youth World Cups and stuff like that, but I'm right now with the [senior] national team and I just got my first cap and I want to get many more. It's all about mindset. When I did not see my name getting called up [previously], it was another opportunity to keep working on stuff that I needed to work on. For me, I don't look back and say, 'What if?' I'm more, 'What's next for the future? How can I get better?' It's all about the long term too. It's about being there consistently for Canada." (tsn.ca, 20 Feb 2021; canpl.ca, 22 Feb 2021)
