Destroyer [Given to her by former coach John Herdman during the 2012 Olympic qualifiers. "Most people would not think a five-foot-two loving-hearted girl as myself would get that nickname, but I think my play on the field matches it. I feel sort of like a mini-super hero when I hear 'The Destroyer'."] (canadasoccer.com, 09 Mar 2016; nationalpost.com, 26 Jun 2015)

RETURN TO KANSAS
In late 2020 her NWSL team, the Utah Royals, were sold and relocated to Kansas City. "I actually started my professional career in Kansas City, so it's kind of coming full circle." She said she initially considered retirement following the postponement of the 2020 Olympic Games, but decided to continue playing through 2021. "Obviously with the Olympics [and] potential vaccines, I think a lot of things are back on the table in a positive way in terms of being involved in that and a professional season. I obviously still love the game and want to be a part of it, with retirement still in the back of my mind, of course." (winnipegfreepress.com, 07 Dec 2020)

CLUB HISTORY
During her college football career at the University of Manitoba she played several games for the Vancouver Whitecaps before joining the club for several more seasons after she graduated in 2009. She played for FC Kansas City in 2013 and then moved to England in 2014 to play with Notts County, before returning to Kansas City in 2016 where she continued to play for the club after it rebranded as the Utah Royals and later to the Kansas City NWSL in 2021.
