MOVE TO EUROPE
After graduating from West Virginia University in the United States of America in 2016, she moved to Europe and signed her first professional contract with French side Paris Saint-Germain. "It was definitely a difficult decision. I thought about NWSL [National Women's Soccer League in the United States of America], I thought about Europe and I knew for myself that I wanted to experience both at some point in my career. Having the opportunity to go to Europe and playing with a club like PSG, it was a massive opportunity." (peacearchnews.com, 06 Jan 2017; Instagram profile, 17 Dec 2018)

FOUNDATION
She is the founder of the Yes She Canada foundation, an organisation which aims to provide young girls with opportunities to participate in sport in Canada. "My goal is to be an example for all females that when you put your mind to something and put in the work, nothing can stop you. I am grateful to have had positive role models and mentors throughout my journey that made an impact on my life. My hope is to do the same for the next generation. It's important to know there are resources available and Yes She Canada is about reminding all girls that anything is possible." (yesshecanada.com, 01 Jan 2019; manifestosport.com, 01 Jun 2020)
