MOTIVATION
Despite being named in Canada's squad for the 2021 SheBelieves Cup in Orlando, FL, United States of America, she remained on the bench and did not earn any minutes during any of Canada's three matches at the tournament. She says she used the disappointment as motivation to improve ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "I got fitter and a lot stronger. I think that was the really big thing. In midfield, you have to be tough in there, so fitness and strength on the ball is really important.
