She made her senior debut with the Chile national team in 2021 at age 28, and she says joining Universidad de Chile in 2020 played a role in her finally making her senior debut. "I say that it [her debut] came a little late because of my age, 28 is not a very common age for someone to debut in the senior team. I always expected that it would be a little earlier, but it was a long process. Maybe I was not in such competitive teams that gave you the level or intensity you need to be in the national team, especially in recent years.
