FOOTBALL COMEBACK
In 2014 she took a four-year break from football to focus on her career in information engineering. "I did it because it is so difficult to combine a full-time job with training." She returned to the sport in 2018 as the Chilean national team were preparing for the qualification matches for the 2019 World Cup in France. "It was a now or never moment. I saw it as a last time to achieve my dream of representing Chile with the senior squad. I knew I had a chance but it was also a gamble that I had to try."
