BITING APOLOGY
She hopes that she will get the opportunity to apologise to Canadian footballer Christine Sinclair at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, having been involved in a biting incident during a friendly tournament in Brasilia, Brazil, in 2013. "I'm ashamed to say that I bit her in a friendly a few years ago. I was a lot younger then. I got a bit on edge and I just don't know what happened to me. I said to myself, 'What have I done'. I felt absolutely terrible and wanted to say sorry, but I couldn't make myself understood. I hope that our paths cross at Tokyo 2020 and that she accepts my apology and we can swap shirts." (fifa.com, 23 Apr 2021)

CLUB JOURNEY
She began her career at Universidad de Chile in 2004. She also played for Everton de Vina del Mar and Colo-Colo in Chile before relocating to Colombia where she joined Independiente Santa Fe in January 2018. Later that year she signed for Spanish side Rayo Vallecano and in 2020 she returned to Universidad de Chile. (unionrayo.es, 12 Oct 2020; espn.com.pa, 23 Aug 2018)
