He split with Mariusz Prudel at the end of 2016 after nine years together, and teamed up with Michal Bryl in December the same year. "Michal has made amazing progress. Despite his young age, he already has big experience. He is smart, confident, and implements advice well into his work on court." SHOULDER INJURY
He has been affected by a shoulder injury. "I have a very damaged shoulder. I had thought about undergoing surgery before the 2020 season, but I would have been out of competition for seven months and probably would not have made it back until May or June. That was my initial plan, but in late 2019 I decided to continue playing for one more year before surgery, as it's not that bad. I need to take painkillers in order to play. Now, with the postponement of the Olympics until 2021, it seems that surgery in November 2019 would have been the best option, but no one could have known." (tvp.pl, 07 Apr 2020)
