LEARNING TO DUNK
She taught herself how to dunk by practising on a hoop in her driveway when growing up. She was first able to touch the rim in eighth grade, and then began dunking after practice with encouragement from her teammates. A video of her dunking went viral in 2017. "I did it a couple of times in high school games, but I really didn't think it was a big deal until the video [of me dunking] went viral. And then I was like, 'Oh, maybe I should have done it more.' Before I was too shy to try it, because you don't really see it in the women's game. But a lot of people would hype me up during practice, and after practice I would stick around and just try it a little bit.
