COACHING AND TRAINING
In 2019 she was in her third season serving as head coach of Bucknell University's softball team, in addition to playing her first season in the National Pro Fastpitch league with the Canadian Wild. While coaching she often takes part in training. "I think because I am the head coach and in charge of the practice planning, I'm able to write myself into practice as much as possible. I'm able to get reps with the team, both on offence and defence. I get live base running in, too. I love jumping into practice. The administration at Bucknell understands that I have a goal and a dream of playing in the 2020 Olympics. They have done nothing but support me through that. Not a single word is said if I'm in the gym training and not in my office. I feel empowered to train and pursue my dream and I couldn't ask for anything more. It's surreal to think that being an Olympian is actually a possibility now." (softballamerica.com, 12 Jun 2019)

FURTHER EDUCATION
After completing a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2009, she completed a master's degree in coaching and athletic administration at Concordia University Irvine in 2014. (LinkedIn profile, 01 Jan 2019; Athlete, 18 Jul 2021)
