REPRESENTING CANADA
She was born in Tucson, AZ, United States of America, and is able to represent Canada through her mother, who is originally from Delta, BC, Canada. "I've been coming to Canada Cup since I was six years old. I was one of those girls with my glove trying to catch the home run, so it's great to be on the field now. It had always been a dream to play [for Canada], and especially with the history and seeing the medals and achievements that are already in my family. I have such pride and honour wearing the [maple] leaf, knowing that three other women in my family got to wear it." (canadacup.com, 15 Jul 2017; theprovince.com, 26 Aug 2019)
