General
FROM PLAYER TO COACH
He was drafted in the 14th round of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Oakland Athletics. He played for a number of the Athletics' minor league affiliates until 2016 when he was signed as a free agent by the Washington Nationals and later the Philadelphia Phillies in 2017. He did not play in the MLB, but played in 70 games of the highest [Triple-A] minor league level during his career. He retired from professional baseball in 2018 and accepted a coaching position with the Milwaukee Brewers organisation. "I want to thank the organisations and coaches I've come across through my playing career - the [Oakland] Athletics for drafting me, the first organisation to believe in me, the [Washington] Nationals for taking a chance on me when no one else would, and the [Philadelphia] Phillies for treating me like family later in my career. Now I want to thank the [Milwaukee] Brewers for believing in my knowledge, personality and commitment enough to bring me into their organisation as a coach." (sportstalkphilly.com, 06 Jan 2019)
