MLB EXPERIENCE AND RETIREMENT
He was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the fourth round of the 2012 MLB Draft out of Pepperdine University. From 2012 to 2016 he played for a number of the Reds' affiliate minor league teams, including three seasons at the highest minor league level [Triple-A]. He made his MLB debut in 2015 for the Reds, featuring in three games that season, as well as in five games in 2016, but his major league ambitions were hampered by injuries, and he announced in March 2019 that he was retiring from professional baseball.
