The Danish men's 4x100m relay team are making their first Olympic appearance in nearly 100 years in Tokyo, having previously contested the event at the Games in 1920 and 1924. They made the final at the 1920 Games, but not in 1924.
The team are yet to make an appearance at the world championships, but did take part in the World Relays for the first time in 2021 in Poland, where they secured their place in Tokyo by qualifying for the final. They crossed the line last out of the six teams that finished the final, and were promoted to fourth following the disqualification of two other teams.
