ARMY TRAINING
In 2020 he attended a military training camp with his club, ASC Dukla Praha, at a barracks near Vyskov, Czech Republic. He was taught how to fire a rifle and sub-machine gun, how to throw grenades, treat wounded comrades, and navigate a battlefield. "I had the greatest respect [for the soldiers] when throwing a grenade. We threw at 25 metres and for the first time I was really scared. I can't imagine [a real combat situation] at all, because I'm not trained for it. I don't know what I would do if someone started shooting around me. I would probably panic, I wouldn't be used to it at all. If it happened all at once, I wouldn't know what to do. Of course I could work it out somehow, but we would have to train more than once, not just once in a while." (sport.aktuaine.cz, 09 Oct 2020)
