General Interest

Eleven athletes represented Bosnia and Herzegovina across judo, athletics, tennis, shooting and swimming events at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Bosnia and Herzegovina made its Olympic debut in 1992 in Barcelona, and has sent a delegation of athletes to each Olympic Games since. The NOC is yet to win an Olympic medal.

Shooter Nedzad Fazlija competed at five consecutive editions of the Games between 1996 and 2012, and is the Bosnian athlete with the most Olympic appearances. His best result was a sixth-place finish in the men's 10m air rifle at the 2000 Games in Sydney.
