He took up the sport because his older brother played and because he was tall. "Basketball offers amazing opportunities. It allows you to discover different cultures, places, and 3x3 offers a different approach to basketball itself. Before I started playing 3x3 I stuck to one place, playing in my country. Over time, I realised that different doors exist, and everyone can choose their own path or try something new. Basketball is the same all over the world. You just need to choose the right door and find your place. I was not able to play for the national 5-on-5 team, but I was able to represent Poland in 3x3." General Interest

General
3x3 FOCUS
In 2019 he decided to quit 5-on-5 basketball and focus solely on the 3x3 format of the game. "Financially, 3x3 has entered a different level and, above all, it is more interesting. It means more travelling, meeting more friends and, from my point of view, having more fun. What I appreciate the most is the people I have been able to meet and train with. I played in Japan and it was great. I played on a team in Saudi Arabia and also have very good memories." (sport.onet.pl, 01 Jun 2021)

JAPAN EXPERIENCE
In 2018 he spent time playing for Nagoya Sekaie in Japan. "I like Japan very much. My fiancee had been there for several months, she had an apartment and knew the language. The team provided me with great conditions. The league itself was at a high organisational level. Going to Japan was a good decision.
