2017 World Cup in Dordrecht (1000m - 3rd, Relay - 2nd)

Injuries:

February 2020: Collided with Sofia Prosvirnova (RUS) in the 1000m final at the World Cup in Dresden, and was carried off on a stretcher. Returned the following week for the next World Cup stage in Dordrecht.

2018/19: Took a break to rehabilitate an injury sustained in the selection for the national team.

2016: Lower spine fracture.

OLYMPIC DRAMA
In the first heat of the 3000m relay at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, Lee suffered a fall but managed to hold out a hand far enough to tag teammate Choi Min Jeong and continue the race. The Korean went on to win the race and the gold medal in the final. (koreaherald.com, 10 Feb 2018)

SUPER FAN
Fan of the Korean boyband BTS, calling herself a member of the ARMY BTS fanverse. "I’m a BTS fan. I usually spend my free time watching their videos or looking at their pictures. I like all the members. I’m especially a fan of Jimin.

“I know BTS members don’t have IG [Instagram] to communicate, and I don’t expect a lot. There’s this thing called Weverse, it’s sort of like a fancafe. During the Beijing Olympics, maybe fellow ARMYs could share my story and if I could get even one comment there, that would mean so much!
