He discovered wheelchair tennis at an International Tennis Federation [ITF] event in Nottingham, England. "I played a lot of sport before I got my disability and after I became disabled I think sport was the way of me almost being what I considered normal again. Tennis gave me back the life I had before I was disabled, it was that kind of bridge for me. It was a way of making friends, a way of me getting back being active. FULL-TIME ATHLETE
In 2018 he left his job as a financial analyst in order to become a full-time athlete with the aim of competing at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. "It has been a dream of mine to represent the Great Britain team at a Games, probably since before London [2012] to be honest.
