She has worked as a model and motivational speaker, has studied beauty therapy, and appeared on national television in South African soap opera '7 De Laan'. "The wheelchair will never define who we are. It is just a means to get from one place to another. That is why I started trying out to be a model in my spare time. I want to prove that we can be just as beautiful as any able-bodied person."
