CLUB JOURNEY
He has played club wheelchair basketball overseas since 2014, playing in leagues in Brazil, Spain and France. "Everything has been a constant learning experience, leaving the country and the family was not easy, but little by little, I have been improving, and I am proud of what I have been able to achieve as an athlete from Norte de Santander [Colombia]." (actualidadzuliana.com, 29 Apr 2018; aopinion.com.co, 17 Jul 2021)

WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL IN COLOMBIA
He feels the introduction of a national wheelchair basketball league in Colombia would help develop the sport in the country. "It has improved a bit, but there is still too much to do, I believe that more inclusion of private companies is required and that the media must get involved in promoting our sport, which has provided good results for our country. I think that if they show what we do, people would fall in love with this sport. However, in Colombia there are still no official wheelchair basketball events, only some tournaments that are held between clubs, unlike in European countries, where they have leagues in which they have weekly games between local and visiting teams."
