2011 EARTHQUAKE
Her house in Kesennuma, Japan, was destroyed by an earthquake off the Pacific coast of Tohoku in March 2011. "When I saw the tsunami on the television news, the place where I was born and raised was shown, so I kept praying for my family to escape safely.
