She won bronze in the S10 100m backstroke at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing and two bronze medals in the S10 100m backstroke and S10 50m freestyle at the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens. She also competed in the 2000 and 2012 Paralympic Games and won two gold medals and two bronze at the 2002 World Championships in Mar del Plata, Argentina. He believes that French Para triathlete Alexis Hanquinquant will be unbeatable at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, but feels that he is among six competitors who could win silver or bronze. "The Frenchman is a step above the rest. He is invincible right now. The other two medals will be played out by the Chinese (Jiachao Wang), the two Americans (Jamie Brown and Eric McElvenny), the Japanese (Hideki Uda), the British (Michael Taylor) and me.
