HISTORIC PARTICIPATION IN TOKYO
If she competes at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo she will become the second female athlete to represent Afghanistan at the Paralympic Games, after athletics competitor Mareena Karim competed in the T46 100m event at the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens. She will also become the first taekwondoka of either gender to represent Afghanistan at the Games.
